I bought them and prefer them to my 10 year old Swaro 8x30 SLC binos.
I haven't used them much yet but the optics and egonomics are very nice.
Optically they are very close to my Leica 10x40 Geovids and a pair of pre HD Ziess 8x56 Night owls.
It has to get pretty dark for the 8x56 Ziess to out perform the new Swaro 8x30.
Honnestly,when you get to this level of performance,they are all very close IME.
