The Seecamp is designed to function with the factory recommended ammo, in the same way a Ferrari is designed to run on high-octaine gasoline, not diesel.
As far as a holster, I carry mine in an Uncle Mike's "Sidekicker" (size 1) pocket holster and find it works as well in my Wrangler jeans as it does in the pocket of a pair of dress trousers.
