Actually Pete, we're almost there. We just need democraps to get out of the way and let private industry extract it. As far as the PC stuff, it's easy, just keep them awash in western luxuries and fighting among themselves and just take their oil. This problem's not going away.
No Jorge, continue using their oil until it is all gone...switch to yours and hike the price so that they beggar themselves attempting to survive.
Any that think the middle east is a cesspit at the moment is in for a shock when they see what eventuates with the loss of petro dollar on a continent awash with weapons...they will be able to irrigate the crops with blood.
