I did an extensive review about a month ago. This post also compared the Forbes vs. the Kimber Montana with measurements as to how the grip sizes in both were different.
The fit and finish is very good. I did nothing to either rifle as they come fully bedded. I adjusted the triggers to 2 1/2#'s. Using a Wheeler inch/pound tool I screwed the supplied talleys on at 25 inch pounds. I am using FX II 6x36 Duplex on both. I have bought into the Barsness theory of signal power scopes. I wish somone made a 8 power though.
Some may shun the push feed design and the blind magazine. Others may be critical of the two position, three safety modes. I too might have been reluctant to accept these features, but no longer. I belive Mr. Forbes, in engineering this rifle style, forgot more about rifles than I ever knew. I just look at the growing collection of target cards knowing I did nothing to the rifle other than to reload for it and shoot it.
