Hi,

I also posted this in your other post titled "Repost to correct account".
Good info,

Thank you.

Since you are the Leica specialist, could I take the opportunity to ask you a few questions about your newest Leica HD B? I'm in the market for a binocular rangefinder and no one has given the HD B an exhaustive review just yet.

With regards to the new Perger Porros:

1. What is the size of the "sweet spot" within the FOV?

2. What is the light transmission percentage within the FOV?

With regards to the rangefinder:

1. Why did Leica choose to use a larger beam divergence than their competitors?

With regards to the Ballistic Calculator function:

1. Will the software be upgradable for any changes which may come down the road?

On some other sites, bow hunters are complaining because the angle compensation function in the rangefinder starts at 100 yards. Does Leica intend to create a dual ballistic calculator (so to speak) so both rifle hunters and bow hunters could use the same bino/rangefinder and simply toggle between the two by switching modes? Obviously, there is a difference between measuring an arrow at 300 fps and a bullet at 2800 fps.

Lastly, I've read there is a 5 year electronic warranty. Could you please clarify what the warranty is for the rest of the bino?

Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
