I really like RL-17 in my 6.5-284, 48.8 gr. pushing 140 VLD's at 3,000 fps with low S.D's.

I'm working on a new project, a 6.5x55 Shilen/FN, and note that mostly slow powders are recommended. My best group, so far, is with the 139 gr. Scenar and Vv N-560. The .260 shooters, from what I've read, like RL-17.

Has anyone used RL-17 in the 6.5x55? That round isn't much different than the .260. I would appreciate loads for 130's and 140's, as I don't see published 6.5x55 data for modern actions using RL-17.
