They require about a 150 rounds for a proper breakin. At least my first one did. Most of my new CCW handguns, I put at least 200 rounds downrange before carrying for self defense.

That being said, I still hated the trigger on the Keltec and the tiny sights. So I traded mine off for a Kahr CM-9' which costs about another $150 bucks & never looked back. Great trigger & great sights. I think I paid $389. For my Kahr new.
You won't have any problems selling your Keltec, should you decide to trade up.
