I can't remember the exact details, but around 4 years ago I sent in a 3-12 sii. I had bought a rifle cheap with the sii on it and this scope's objective "bell" appeared just slightly "bent". I sent it in, they said it was bent and gave me about 10% off a new, different model sii, as they didn't have a mildot available.
I'm not saying this was wrong or I got screwed, just relaying my experience with them.
