so how DO you adequately punish someone that has just done something like that?
Just killing 'em seems to come up short.
There's nothing you can do. You just hang him publicly and move on. There is no punishment you could hand down that would come close to what he deserves.
"Vengence is Mine, sayeth the Lord. I shall repay."
Our job is to make the world as safe as possible for those who are trying to live a decent life. Real payback takes place later.
Maybe so - but these killers need to be removed from society - permanently!
Gunshot to the head being most efficient, and guillotine being most quick, and painless (IMHO)
