This is true Butch. But it was in the mid to late nineties. Both of those guys had their hands on my gun. Unfortunately, Taconic could not market enough of those mausers and had to go belly up. The business returned back into manufacturing for Rem., Colt , AeroSpace and various other contracts. Colt Defense is their main work orders now. The original owner has since retired and his SIL, Daughter, & Son are running the company.
