Ditto. Depends a lot on how smooth your forcing cone and bore is, and how well said bullets fit their throats and bore, and the relationship between throat diameter and bore diameter, etc., etc.. You're on the right track though. Heck, I would try the pure lead bullets though and see what happens. "Nothing beats a try but a failure." If they don't work, sweeten the alloy a bit.

How do you like Trail Boss for wadcutter loads? I have only ever used the 'traditional' powders- Bullseye, Red Dot, Clays, etc., and have a can of Trail Boss that someone gave me.
