Well there is still a lot of snow pack on the ground here in CT. and its been anything but warm. Tonight its going to get down to near zero. Even with all the snow and it warms up, the snow melt will keep the water temps low, in the mid 30"s experience tells me its better when the water temps hit around 40 -42, then you can fish and be assured if you hit all the good spots you will pick up fish. Spring is going to be late this year I think, the Weather Pattern dose not look like its going to change from the Cold for another few weeks so for around my neck of the woods, normal late feb and march conditions might come towards the end of the month or the first week in April. As they say in the Game of thrones "Winter is Coming" or is that The Stick of truth, I get confused on that!
