I switched to a leather English game/fishing bag slung over the shoulder. It's compartmentalized so as to carry an assortment of fly boxes and other 'necessities'. I no longer wade in water up to my belly any more, so I don't fear it getting wet. (Heck, I try to avoid wading period anymore. Luckily I can get away with that on the PA limestoners.)
