I bought a rifle from a friend a few weeks ago. This is the scope that was on it, and I don't need it. He bought the scope new several years ago. He said it holds zero. I've shot the rifle with this scope and it shoots great, so the scope is doing it's job!
It is friction adjustment and gloss. It has been hunted and has marks on it, as seen in the pictures. The glass is good.
