Last weekend I was at Cabelas looking for 17HMR. Had to walk thru the gun library ( of course
)
and saw an 1895 #5302 in the gun case. Called the store clerk over so I could get a closer look at it.
After getting pass the initial sticker shock, I noticed the barrel had no marking on it at all.
I'll be interested to hear anything you guys have to say about 1895's.
