I just got my 270WBY together with a 25" Bartlein....
If I can get 3100 with a 150 at 1/2-3/4" in a 7.5lb scoped 270WBY I'm in heaven...
Dave with a 25 inch barrel you could get within 75 to100fps of that with a plain old 270 Win. Accuracy is another story but I woulda' thought you'd do better for speed in a Weatherby?
