One interesting thing I noticed about the data on Hogdon's load site is it lists Superformance with a 140 gr. Partition in 280 Rem starting load of 54.0 gr and 2905 fps. Max load listed is 57.0 gr and 2983 fps. 3 more gr. of powder only nets 78 more fps?
Odd indeed. So you figure why bother?
