Thanks for putting up the photos and thought process behind your Oklahoma belt knife pattern.
As a Canuck who's had a fair bit of time behind a blade peeling animals, it's my considered opinion your pattern would work very well.
The handle on the original does tend to be a bit small and a bit more belly on a skinner is always welcome too.
Overall sir, that is one fine looking and I'm betting very user friendly knife. Well done indeed.
