I count Dennis as a good friend and am also sorry for his latest setback. As said he is having a rough go of it at present, but he is a fighter which no doubt is probably part of the reason he is still with us.

The last time we were up to see him was in September 2013 and he was really doing quite well. We enjoyed our time with him then immensely. I too, feel enriched by knowing him and have always admired him.

Here is a picture taken in September 2013 on his porch. He looked good with just a touch of gray in his beard. wink
