Guilty myself, I have about $6k into a 338 Lapua build including the scope and components. I haven't even taken delivery from the smith and I think I am over it? I am going to shoot it and hunt it but practical it is not. I had to have it though? Why?

To the rest of the guys that do it maybe they don't mind the financial hit of dumping a newer custom? They just move on the the next thing without batting an eye.
