Exactly. A Chronograph is a must for load development in any particular rifle. Its not like they are expensive for the value they add to a savvy reloader.

Duyring load development, I always shoot over a chrono.

Here is an example. I knew that this bullet/powder combo shot well in this rifle from previous experience. In this case I decided to do a primer test, contrasting accuracy vs. velocity.
