I had a 97 rifle built for my son before he was born - engraved with his name on the barrel. In 6.5 BRM. It is VERY accurate and quiet flexable in the 6.5 chambering. I loaded plinking loads with light cast bullets that had no recoil when my son was learning. 100gr partitions/120gr Bt/120 x bullets as he matured. Did I mention that it is UGLY? It can't be stored in the same safe with #1s or high-walls
. It is very special to me but its hard to get past its looks. If I had to do over, I would have chambered a low wall in 250 Savage and went from there!
