I shot through a Wildebeast, which is about the size of an elk, with a 100 grain Magnus stinger. Hit just barely behind the onside leg and exited the offside shoulder. The broadhead looked like it could be used again. I was shooting a 58 pound Hoyt and carbon arrows, Gold Tip, I think. The animal didn't go far so I assume it would work on elk too.
