True, shot it off. I use Fletchtite, lower, left arrow that did the deed can't be seen. I have cut many vanes off when tuning. But a story from target shooting. I shot many shoots without glued nocks. Just a twist and did have to pick up many from the ground from arrows banging together. Just twist back on. I also had fun putting arrows on the bow with the cock feather or vane in. Guys would holler at me and I said "so what" doesn't touch if tuned right.
Had a few bows with grips I never could hold the same so I carried a tube of Cocoa butter, greased my hand at every target so the handle could only be held one way as it slid in.
Have to step back 50 to 60 years.
Never knew what a release was except for the leather flap used by distance shooters.
When I started a release I found the Tru-Ball best, seen some throw a string off and ruin accuracy.
