So I don't post much on this forum but figured this might be worthy. Bought a rifle from a fellow campfire member a few years ago and we have always kept in touch and hunted antelope a couple years ago and will hunt deer this year.

Anyway, I invited Darren who goes by darrenk75 here on the campfire to do some salmon fishing with me here in Oregon. We have a pretty good run of both Chinook (Kings) and coho in August in the lower Columbia river. So he and his 7 year old son came up for a couple days last week.

The fishing turned out to be pretty decent. First day out we put 3 nice Chinook in the boat, lost a few also but just had a great day. Two where 30+lbs. Got 3 more the 2nd day.
Here is Darren with the bigger of the Chinook.

And here's me with a couple nice coho from a few days ago. Been a good season so far.
