Where did I say/insinuate we should kiss Russia's azz? The US is not the only member of NATO and the other members are going to be nervous about letting the Ukraine join. Even the Ukraine knows joining is going to escalate tensions and probably start a war/conflict with Russia. Do you want that?
What is sending some Apache helicopters going to do? It will just escalate the situation and make matters worse. Do you want this country mired in another conflict? We are still deep in the mess that is the ME.
