I was talking about breaking in a pair of boots a while back and one of the guys told me to soak them in water and wear them 'til they get dry. Pat, thats a fact. I have done a LOT of camping in heavy rain. December last year, in the Ocala NF, a huge early morning thunder storm with 50 mph winds blew through my camp site. I was using my older Coleman 4 man tent, not the Eureka. About 3 AM, one of the tent poles that supports the back window awning broke, and it started to funnel gallons of water right into the tent.
Woke up afloat. Geez what a mess.
