The Revolution is a very good scope, I bought a 2-7 and 3-9 when they came out. When they came out they were somewhere in between VX-1 and VX-2 in features and cost less than VX-1. Leupold has since upgraded both the VX-1 and VX-2. If buying new the Redfield is still as good as ever, but a tiny bit less quality than a VX-1, and quite a bit less than a current VX-2.

I wouldn't be afraid to use any of them.
