Recent rains in Arizona caused the normally dry Little Colorado River to flow for a few days. Grand Falls is often called Chocolate Falls due to the muddy waters. Evening light gives it a redder cast. Grand Falls, although tiered, has a total drop a few feet more than Niagara Falls.
