I have a Pre 64 .375 H&H that was drilled and tapped for .500" and the customary .330 or .440 OEM Warne & Talley QDs wich I'd like to use won't work. Should I go ahead and fill in (screw) the most rearward hole and have it drilled & tapped for .330 as there is enough room to do so or just only use one screw in the rear base?
