I have a cva apex 35 whelen.... Has anyone heard of any accuracy issues regarding the gun? Scope is mounted on a two piece rail/ring combo that came with the gun..... Topped with a burris 4.5x14x42...... Love the gun but can't get it to shoot like it should! Oh and this is the first time in years that I've been here, glad to be back!!! Thanks guys and gals!
My Whelen is MOA with FL-sized handloads (mild 225's), but did not like factory Fusions or minimally sized handloads. They ran 2-3 MOA. Mine came with the one piece mount.
