Hi, looking for thoughts on this please.

I bought some HSM 270 ammo with 150 Berger VLD's just cause of the ballistic potential I envisioned.

I went to the HSM site and what they are showing there would be truly a shot in the arm to the 270 if true. They show the 150 VLD out of the 270 at over 2200 fps at 500 yds. WOW.

How realistic is that coming out of a 22" barrel? I have not chrono'd but would expect closer to 2900 than the 3000+ launching vel. they list. Thoughts anyone?
