Where I grew up everybody had them in the pantry. I still eat them, though I'm the only one in the house that does. Back in the 60's my mother worked in the canneries when she was in high school. My family built a mustard mill to support the canneries in Eastport Maine in 1900. My uncle still operates it today. Last of the true cold grind mills left I believe. Still use grindstones they got from France when they opened. Neat place to check out if you ever make it way Down East.
