I was reading on a gardening site, that people bring them inside when the soil temp's get below 50, and supposedly they can live seven or eight years. One guy said he had one plant that was now ten feet tall. Giving him a couple hundred pods per year.
curious in the post as to the truth of this.
in phoenix we get below 50 in the winter, but rarely freezing.
