I purchased a box of 180gr Nosler partitions for my 300 sav 99. First attempt with 4064 left me with a 2.650 overall length with the powder compressed. The COL for the 300 sav in model 99 is 2.600.
Is anyone using this bullet in their 300 sav mod 99 with other powders? Was thinking maybe TAC, etc might give me enough room in the case to seat this bullet to 2.600.
