I just purchased a nice 270 and would like to ask a few questions. The serial number is just barely visible do you guys engrave this back on the bolt or just let it wear off. This will be a hunting gun so in the future you want be able to distinguish the numbers. Second question is what type of rear sight came on this gun and where can I find one. The last question is the leather strap is ate up with green rust. Especially the buckles. How do you clean this up?
