Kampfeld just fluted my 6.5x47, 700, now a 20" Light Palma (chopped from 22.5)
Use casual paper, but also hunting, stand and carry.
Wanting something not bulky, nor wide in the forearm, owned some Classic Hunters, feel like a McM Compact forearm length would be better matched to a 20" but this tube is likely too thick. Not into tactical style stocks, this will be run with BDL bottom metal unless I have a brain fart.
So in essence a stock that can be handled in the field, not just designed for prone or bench use.
Seen several Manners on customs which seem appropriate but I believe they do cost more right?
What would you Looney's do?
