How is it on game other than deer. Anyone have experience on elk or bear?
I took a nice sized cow elk with my 308 this year and the 130 TTSX. Broadside shot at about 30 yds behind the shoulder; naturally it exited. Hand loaded with RL 15 at 3050. I used the 150 TTSX prior and it worked too but I wanted more speed.
I think of the 130 ttsx combined with the 308 Win as a short action 270.
