In antique lever action 25-20, I clamp a pistol scope to the barrel and shoot Sierra 75 gr hollow point 1600 [short bullet that can stabilize], 1.895" OAL [too long to feed, must be loaded single shot] with 12 gr LIL'GUN does 2350 fps. I have to keep the pressure down to 28kpsi or the primer will pierce with the sloppy firing pin to firing pin hole fit.
That shoots ~ 2.2 moa, which is good for an antique.

For modern big stuff, the 75 gr Vmax at 3500 fps can shoot in the .4s.

But for mule deer bucks, I like the Nosler 115 gr Ballistic tip at 3050 fps.
