The grips on my Ruger NM Blackhawk, .45 Colt, are Sambar stag, although you can't tell too much from this picture. I bought the Ruger Convertible in 1978 and the Sambar stag grips in 1979. Been using them ever since.

I still have the original factory walnut grips, box, .45 ACP cylinder, and paper.

Carries well out in the boonies.

That's stag on that Ruana and well worn down stag on that old Camillus Stockman, which is always in my pocket
