Do you know if the DBM bottom metal can be replaced with Bdl style hinged floor plate?
No, the inlet for the Surgeon metal is longer and deeper.
I'm a little ignorant to the switch barrel but do you use a go � no go guage to get repeatable headspace or just fired piece of brass?
Neither.....screw 'em off, screw 'em on, snug 'em up a tad so they don't unscrew, and call it good.
