Leatherman's are truly great but do not attempt to use one in place of a bolt cutter.....grin

I did the same thing years ago with my first Super Tool----------cutting too much barbed wire. I felt like an idiot after I did it.

The latest Super Tool (ST300) has replaceable jaws for just such mistakes. I haven't had to replace mine yet, but it's nice knowing I have the option.
