Thanks for the compliments! I was using a Canon EOS 60D with the 18-135mm kit lens. I shot these in AV mode(aperture priority) with my ISO set at 200. I'm still learning and have had my best pictures in AV mode.

I would love a better lens but my wife says I must decide between camera equipment or guns. Right now guns are winning out. I enjoy taking these action shots but it is really hard to do and pay attention to the game at the same time. I have found the linemen are the hardest to take pictures of...especially the center and two guards. The tackles and tight ends are not quite as hard. Most of my photos have come from the stands.
