I could have stopped by during my trip to Bowman a couple weeks ago and you could have tried a couple first hand.
Just know that using a suppressor on a supersonic 22 cal is still quite loud but that sound is the 'crack' of the bullet rather than the muzzle blast.
I think you just need to determine how much $1000 means to you (and your hearing).
P.S. Most suppressor buyers/users do not regret the purchase.
