Just inherited one of these, but a little confused....
Round barrel, but has checkered stock and fore end....
Take down version with no obvious serial #....
Forward flat of receiver has a circled Y and a H stamped in it
Tang has two holes drilled, assuming for tang peep sight.... No other extra holes
I would say both wood and metal are between 85-90%, closer to 90%, and the rifle was owned by one owner... A 92 yr old who unfortunately will no longer be able to
give anymore info on said rifle.
I will be keeping the rifle and probably handing it over to my son when he is old enough, so would just like any info you collectors out there may have.
