I got a quick look and hope to take pictures later tonight after work.

It has a 24" barrel, take down works smoothly. Caliber is .300. The hanger where the forearm attaches looks like it has been filed a little, adjusted?. It seems to work fine, but I hope to have picture later for you all to see. Serial number 2989XX.

Normal bluing loss on the receiver and barrel, small dents and bruises on the wood. Looks like normal hunting use. Does not look to be refinished. Bore looks good. All numbers match. Barrel is hand tight. Small crack in the forearm in line with the take down slide.

I know the guy paid $600 for it, but have not heard what he is asking. A friend of his and mine has it in his possession for me to look at, which is why I don't have a firm price yet.

Seems to be an honest early rifle, but as I said I hope to be able to post pictures for your critique later tonight or tomorrow.
