Anybody running the 100 Ballistic Tip in 25-06 for songdogs? I worked up a load this weekend that shoots just over 1/2" with these. Wont be a full time yote rifle it is going to be carried by a buddy of mine in 2 weeks on a coyote tournament we are hunting in. Just wondering if it is a bit tough and I should try to get a load together with the 85 Ballistic tip instead. Let me know how it is working for you that are running it.
Haven't shot my 2506 in years, but the 100gr BT was the do-all bullet in it. Last coyote I shot with it was about 200 yds out and I hit a bit high. Punched about a 3 inch wide trough through the top of her shoulders. Yeah, they'll work....
