Keahi, i had the same decision with a Ruger American OD green stock, after buying the supplies, of what i thought would look good, and painting it, it didnt..Now keep in mind that i have zero artistic ability, and my wife says that my choice in color, and fashion stinks too. Did you ever think about dipping it? that is what i ended up doing in the end, and i think that it looks great.i can send you pics if you provide me your email, or number.
