When there is new Montana Rifle Company or Kimber product in same caliber to be had buying non-collectible old Model 70 in same caliber (that is very expensive because relatively few were made) makes zero sense to me. My understanding is that Montana actions are investment cast, not forged. I do not know about Kimber.
