First off nice 1100! You are not way out of line, but for a standard 1100 12ga with a 28" modified, 350-450 would be alot more realistic. That is what I have seen them for sell online and at gun shows. If it was a more rare or sought after model it would bring more but that one is really common. Gunbroker is a good place to appraise a gun, check out the completed listings and you can see what similar specimens have sold for lately.
